A drilling rig can be defined as a specially equipped system integrated onto a truck chassis or trailer.
In large-scale drilling systems, operations that are typically performed separately using different pieces of equipment are consolidated into a single unit in Royal Sondaj’s rigs. Our rotary drilling systems are primarily used in areas such as groundwater exploration, soil surveys, and mineral exploration. Once the most productive groundwater point is identified, the drilling process begins.
When the target depth is reached, the drill bit and drill rods are removed from the system. Next, the well is stabilized by installing a casing pipe that is narrower than the drill bit’s diameter. The space between the well wall and the casing pipe is filled with washed and screened granular drilling gravel. In the final stage, the well is cleaned and developed using methods such as compressed air or jetting, making it ready for operation.
